Volwing (Volunteering Wingecarribee) is the volunteer resource organisation in Wingecarribee Shire, in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales.
As an independent organisation, Volwing provides a service to the community that is an integral part of Wingecarribee Shire Council’s strategic plan. Volwing is funded by an annual contribution from Council, by grants for projects, by membership fees, by fund raising and by donations.
Volwing works with other community groups in the Southern Highlands to ensure the ongoing strength of the local volunteer sector, driven by our ethos that volunteering is a win-win for all, and boosted by our knowledge that the Southern Highlands, an ageing; largely well-educated community, is a rich source of volunteers from all walks of life.
